Welcome to the Library
Information on these pages if for those who are using GippsTAFE Library as part of the CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme.
If you are a GippsTAFE student or staff member and wish to borrow from another academic library please contact Library Staff. Further information on the scheme is available from the CAVAL website. (See links at left)
What do I need to use the Library?
To enrol please bring the following:
- Your CAVAL Borrower Card which you obtain from your home library
- Your current home library student card
- Current ID to verify mailing address
Library staff will issue you with a PIN so that you can access features of our e-library such as placing holds and renewing loans.
You will need a current CAVAL Borrower Card to borrow from any campus library.
Please note that CAVAL Borrowers from libraries outside of GippsTAFE cannot use online databases or Institute computers.
A wireless network is available for guest logins. Please ask at the Circulation Desk for further information.
